Best Networking Events?

Question

We are going to be hosting a networking event for investors in the Lake Tahoe, NV area.

What are some of the features that made a great event?

What went on at the events you have been to that added the most value to you as an investor?

Candy's Dandy a liquor is quicker!

An evening mixer, or something beginning at around 10:00 AM versus oh-dark 30.

Comfortable chairs, the more comfortable the better.

Some nice background music.

An area with some couches in it .

Staff keeping the bathrooms clean during the event . Uber clean.

A fun prize drawing at the end such as Something worth about 40 or $50 . Maybe a gift cards to Chili's or Olive Garden or something .

At the beginning of the event a time where the participants can come up to the microphone in front of the crowd introduce themselves and say a few words . Not a lengthy discussion . A high I am and I'm looking for type of thing .

One or two professionals present accountant/attorney who can take random questions from the group right after lunch for about 45 minutes . And then a 15 minute coffee break/ bathroom break .
