How big do you plan on growing? You may have to balance spending money on things today that you may not really need until later - but, they may cost a LOT more to change later.

You can use a regular email address for your LLC, but it may appear less professional. Investing in a custom domain email address can enhance your business's image and security, though it does involve some expense.

@Aaron Maxwell What is your business? My recommendation is do not use your personal email. Get a business email it looks a lot more professional and if reaching out to someone they will take it a lot more serious As a business owner if I get a cold email and it’s gmail, hotmail, yahoo etc i typically do not even read it and send it to junk. If you want to run a business, then run it like a business, if you want to do it as a hobby then that’s ok too and use your personal email

You can - but honestly it is extremely inexpensive to have your own email address at your own domain. For example Hover allows you to buy a domain for around $15 a year and a small mailbox for $20 a year. That’s $35 a YEAR to have your own email address with a URL that is for your company. You don’t have to build a website for that to work either. It looks much more polished and it’s very inexpensive.

Yes, many people do. It looks more professional to have your own domain name but I have never chosen to not do business with someone using their personal email to conduct business.

What I have seen so far as another newb who is probably not much further than 5 minutes ahead of you in the REI journey: It will not matter during the acquisition process (unless you are finding your own off market deals). CONS: -Not great to deal with tenants because of privacy reasons. -Not great to deal with contractors (they will take you less seriously, and privacy too). So the short answer is maybe at the beginning, but not a good idea for MOST after acquisition. And it is only like 20 bucks/year like others mentioned so unless you plan on being locked in analysis paralysis for a year you will not even save that much... YES if you are buying turn key and plan on using property manager for everything.
