Is this a saturated Market?

I have family in San Antonio and will be visiting at the end of next month to look around. I see a lot of houses for sale and I am wondering is it a good market? What are the good areas and are the rents low? I know people have said stay away from the south east and these are some of the neighborhoods that are considered “good” but I feel like the numbers are not great in these areas. Thank you for any input

Aloha Jess,  I did a quick peek of the San Antonio Market.  Yeah,  inventory is a little high at ~9000 homes for sale with a DOM of ~55 days and median price at $295K.

On the otherhand, the preforeclosure market is high as well with ~6000 preforeclosures and ~3700 vacant homes.  IMHO,  its a buyer market and you can probably find some good deals out there with some decent margins.  HTHS,  Joel
