Looking to buy my first investment. Would it be good to hire a Property Manager. Thank you for the help in advance.

Dean,

If the investment is a multi-unit like an apartment building or trailer park, then yes, absolutely hire a property manager. Tracking payments, keeping up with repairs and legal affairs of multiple tenants can wear you out.

If your investment is a single property, I feel you would be doing yourself a dis-service by hiring a property manager. If you can handle a bit of landlord responsibility, you can relax a bit more and get more of your own pie- but you will have something to take care of occasionally.
