Serious beginner in Wholesaling, Looking to learn and make progress
Hi, I'm 17 and just starting to learn real estate wholesaling. I'm serious about getting into the business and would really appreciate connecting with someone experienced who can help point me in the right direction. I'm open to JV opportunities or any mentorship to help close my first deal. Any advice is much appreciated

@Jesus Pena, since you asked for advice, I'll provide you a constructive criticism, which I believe will help you tremendously in your wholesaling career. I'd highly encourage you to change your approach. Pay attention to the way you are framing your message: "I'm open to JV or any mentorship...". You are speaking in a way that sounds like it will be a privilege for someone to JV with you or mentor you.
In my company, I receive about 10-15 such requests per week from other youngsters and newbies trying to get into this industry. And the vast majority of them also use similar language. In fact, many of them say that they are willing to work for free a few first months.
However, if you really want to have a better chance to work with someone who's successful in what you are trying to achieve, it is crucial for you to understand that you must provide VALUE. Nobody cares about you working for free because you working for free means they need to waste their time teaching you...
Nobody seems to understand that. Anyways, the lesson here for you is to offer REAL VALUE instead of being open for JV opportunities or any mentorship.
I hope you'll take it as a constructive criticism and adjust your approach. You can thank me later. I wish you best of luck!
