Recommendations for summer

Hello, I was just wondering if anyone had any advice on something meaningful I could do over the summer to get more into real estate. Currently, I have a double major in finance and real estate, but I don't have much actual experience outside of the classroom.

Any recommendations would be great!

Try to get real world exposure. You could intern with a small investor, property manager, lender, or brokerage to see how deals actually get done. Even helping someone analyze deals for free is a huge learning opportunity. You could also practice by underwriting real listings from LoopNet or the MLS, join investor communities, attend virtual meetups, and study real offering memorandums. My Co investing club vets new deals every month, we are more passive, but if you would like to see how deals are vetted you could sign up for a free account and join our deal discussion calls, listening in might be a good learning experience.
