Best time to be a licensed agent?

My partner/fiance is looking at quitting her 9-5 job to and becoming a full time real estate agent in about 8 weeks. She got her license last winter. So I know It varies from year to year and location but how long does the spring summer "ride" last for agents?  We would be doing this ahead of schedule because the market is so good for agents here right now.

In many markets, she would have already missed the upswing.  It started late here, not sure if it was the weather or what.

That being said, I saw in another post that she was a KW agent.  If she is going full time and going to build a career worth having, she shouldn't pay attention to time of year.  She should work now for business in 3-6 months.  Have her talk to her team leader and see if she can get some regular mentoring and accountability.  Weekly preferably.  Take Ignite or Bold.

Another way to start is to work as a buyers agent for another team.  She may be able to start part time, then move to full time.  After she builds experience, she can go out on her own.

Just to reiterate, if she is constantly lead generating and FOLLOWING UP (just as important as lead generating, as it is said the fortune is in the follow up), she will do fine no matter what time of year.

Tell her to read MREA again.  It's inspiring and she will discover something new from the last time she read it.
