how to get started in flipping in the Bay Area

hello everyone . I live in the gilroy area and trying to get started on doing flip house . Any ideas where to start or look for property . I will greatly appreciate any constructive feedback. Thanks . Stella

My advice would be to stay and flip in Gilroy. It is one of the better areas of the South Bay where values are rising and is relatively affordable compared to San Jose, Milpitas, Cupertino, etc. Also, I host a local Meetup and our topic this month is Residential Investing in Santa Clara County. Please come and join us if you can make it. I am sure it would be a good networking opportunity for you and an informative Meetup on getting started with house flips.

@Stella Yufenyuyyou should probably start by learning the real estate market we're currently in, as well as educating yourself on the process of flipping a house and everything that entails; find a seller, structure a deal, fund it, renovate and sell. There are many articles on each of these on Biggerpockets, books, guides and podcasts.

There's no one correct way to do it - it all depends on what comes naturally to you given your skills, knowledge and the depth of your pocket.
