Selling Homes as a Property Manager?

Hi There BP Members - 

I am totally green as it relates to the world of real estate sales.  My question was - Can you have a full time job as a property manager (with a RE License) and acquire your own listings and sell those properties through your broker?  How does this process work and are the rules state specific?  I am looking to work in Georgia.  

Thanks so much for any helpful insight you all can provide.
