Anyone Using Self Directed IRA

Hello Everyone,

Is anyone using a self directed IRA to fund all or part of their real estate investing? I am looking into the subject and wanted to get input from people already using this vehicle.

Also, can anyone shed some light on the difference between a Checkbook IRA and an IRA/LLC?
