Buying properties in Omaha, NE

Hi!  I just had a couple questions about buying properties in Omaha Nebraska.  Are there zip codes we should stay away from?  A fellow newbie told me 68110 & 68111 were not good to invest (flip or buy & hold).  Secondly, could someone give me names of some good contractors in Omaha, NE?

TIA for your assistance!!

Depends on if you're looking for a flip or a but and hold.  Omaha is a hot market right now, so the margins aren't what they used to be for flips.  However, if you like challenges there are opportunities for flips in the northern parts of Omaha but they are tougher than most neighborhoods.  It all depends on your situation.  Think west for appreciation and low headaches or north for profit but potential headaches.
