I have been talking with a Broker about a property I am looking at. She told me that since the appraisal value of the property may have been too high, taht I may be able to protest the property taxes and get a somewhat lower tax.

How does protesting taxes worK?

States have different processes. The protests are time sensitive so get busy finding out NOW. I've normally gotten great reductions when I've showed up to protest. They feel it is easier to give in to the few that show up than fight them, imo. Good luck. Rich.
