what can I bring to the table?

Question

Im overseas, have no credit, a small amount of investment money.what can i bring to the table on a partnership?so far I find time to look for deals. but that is all so far. what else can i do?

I highly recommend building your credit. Get a credit card and pay it off on time every month.

You can still become a successful real estate investor - having very little money can be overcome, if you have access to loans through good credit and employment.

Also being in the military a VA loan is at least a good option to have.

@Jonathan Beemer There are ways to find lenders. Being over seas you can listen to the podcast and read to get some more knowledge in the subject. Also you have the ability to use your VA loan. There was a recent podcast about a guy in the national guard deployed over seas and he saved enough to buy a home when he got back to the states. I am not sure on what number it was but it was fur sure in the past 2 months. That might offer you some insight hearing his story, now he was an officer and they make a significant amount of money difference. Im active duty in Jacksonville, Im still new to the process and how things work, but if you need anything let me know man!

@Jonathan Beemer. When you say a small amount, what do you mean exactly? I hear there are a lot of military members who save up enough to buy property. Thinking selfishly for how I run my business, I think you could offer me an in to a network of potential investors in the military. I would actually love to add that to how I currently do business. Shoot me a message if you're interested. If you're not interested in following up with me specifically, I still think you can use that connection to ambitious, hard working people in the military as your "unfair advantage." Start talking real estate, and if you get a few guys and gals together with enough money to do something, you have something to offer an investor.
