Reading, reading and more reading.

Hi. I'm Eric.

I live in Charlotte, NC.

I'm 50 years old with a passion to start my own business. I currently work full time in Logistics. But that will be coming to a end next week as layoffs have been handed down and I didn't make the cut. Lol. I am feeling like I have wasted the last 7 years of my life and it is time to get out of this rat race.

I'm looking into real estate investing.

I am interested in learning buying and flipping as well as buying and holding as a way to begin. I am interested in single family residential properties and have been reading a ton of material on the subject of investing in real estate. I have to admit. I am getting overloaded and am looking forward to gaining a little hands on experience. I have been looking at the local meet ups and have joined a few in my area for next month.

I was wondering if any one else has ever experienced the overwhelming feeling of confusion from reading and trying to gather information in their real estate investing journey?

Have a great day!

I know that I've had information overload! LOL! But I have to say....we threw caution to the wind and jumped head first into our first flip! We just listed it and got our first offer within 24 hours and we are going to be walking away with about a $20k profit! It was a longer process than anticipated but it was a HUGE learning experience!  As bold as it may be....just do it! Jump in! You can read all day long and night but until you take action, you won't gain momentum to make the goals happen that you long to achieve! There were laughs and tears during our first one but I am so pumped to start the next one! Take the leap Eric! You can do it!!
