Thank you @Shawn Mcenteer It's good to know that I am not the only one who has felt this way. I have every intention of sticking with it and overcoming the feelings. I know they will pass. It's funny you should mention self development books. I am active in reading and listening to self improvement books and cd's. I agree that they are a tremendous influence and help in my life. Thank you for responding to my post. I look forward to more interactions between us. Have a great day. Happy Holidays to you and your family.

@Keith Boley. Thank you for posting this. I just happened across this post and I must say that I felt a spark reading it. I am new to the world of real estate investing and I have been doing so much reading that my eyeballs are about to fall out. I am eager to get started and have been checking my local REI clubs and signing up for the next meetings. I have also been asking questions of others in the business on here and other sites I visit. I am setting small attainable goals and will take the suggestion of using the list. I love that idea. Thank you for pumping me up.

Thank you @Jennifer Walden. I appreciate your taking the time to share that with me. I am actually excited just reading your comment. Congratulations on your first flip. I am happy for you and I cannot wait until I am posting about mines too. Although I am feeling overloaded I do look forward to making my first move and jumping right in. My anticipation outweighs my fears and I am ready to get my hands on experience. Thank you again.

Hi. I'm Eric.
I live in Charlotte, NC.
I'm 50 years old with a passion to start my own business. I currently work full time in Logistics. But that will be coming to a end next week as layoffs have been handed down and I didn't make the cut. Lol. I am feeling like I have wasted the last 7 years of my life and it is time to get out of this rat race.
I'm looking into real estate investing.
I am interested in learning buying and flipping as well as buying and holding as a way to begin. I am interested in single family residential properties and have been reading a ton of material on the subject of investing in real estate. I have to admit. I am getting overloaded and am looking forward to gaining a little hands on experience. I have been looking at the local meet ups and have joined a few in my area for next month.
I was wondering if any one else has ever experienced the overwhelming feeling of confusion from reading and trying to gather information in their real estate investing journey?
Have a great day!

Hi. I'm Eric.
I live in Charlotte, NC.
I'm 50 years old with a passion to start my own business. I currently work full time in Logistics.
I'm looking into real estate investing as a way to make a living and build wealth in the long term.
I am interested in learning wholesaling or tax deeds as a way to begin. I am interested in eventually moving into flipping houses and buying and holding single family rentals to create passive income.
I would like to connect and network with others in the NC area and other areas as well to learn and begin on my new journey.
Have a great day!
