Columbus, Ohio - starting out

Hey BP. I'm a recent-ish graduate of Ohio State living and working full time in Columbus, OH (LOB asset management, asset based lending). I'm looking for concrete avenues to expand my real estate knowledge (processes and local market). By concrete I mean real time examples and experiences. Preferably something I can do for a few hours on the weekend, on weekdays after work, or maybe a service I could offer to other investors for the sole purpose of learning before I take the plunge myself. Has anyone had similar experiences or done anything like this? Is this a realistic option?

Maybe if you can narrow it down to a more specific area of real estate that you're most interested in learning about.  There's flippers, such as myself.  Then there's buy and hold guys.  And there's investors that do both.  There's wholesalers and wholetailers.  There's a broad range of investors on this site. If you can be a little more specific about what you hope to learn I'm sure someone here will help out a fellow Buckeye.
