Starting out with debt!

Hey everyone! So I'm just starting out, but I have a lot of debt! Between school loans, car loan and credit cards, taxes too, It's all quite depressing. I'm currently reading and listening to The Book on Rental Property Investing, anyone have ideas on what I should do first. How do I save to buy properties with so much debt? Is that possible or even wise?

@Greg Morton Owner occupy a HUD home using FHA. Make some repairs while you live there for a one year period. Get a HELOC at the end of the year. Pay off all your debt. Rent the house. Repeat. Debt free in a year. No worries.
