Best option for a newbie?

hello everyone!

I am looking for some advice on my next steps in this journey I'm embarking on. I am in the US military so i don't have a lot of  but enough time to start investing in real estate. I leave for deployment in about 6 months or so and am going to be saving up some money to invest when i get back. I am here to ask if there is anything i can do before i leave and the next six months to get my foot in the door and immersing myself in the culture of this world. I am 22 years young and a woman and also nervous that people won't take me seriously. I want to start networking and figuring out what i can do to set myself up in the best way for when i get back. Any input is helpful! Thanks in advance!

Find your skillset that fits you and you can do extremely well.... then find others through networking that compliment your skill set and fit your goals. But since you're just starting out... I'd figure out what you want to do. You're goals/dreams/reality may change the more you learn.

Network as much as you can. Learn the business inside and out. Then find a mentor locally who you can spend time with and learn what they are doing locally.

thank all of you for your opinions! I kinda don't know where to start networking in my area. I can use the VA loan but i have to live there for a year. I want to invest in multifamily properties. House hack. i would like to invest as soon as i get back from deployment and learn as much as i can while out to sea. It is hard to make a plan about the financial freedom i want to achieve since I'm not exactly sure where i will be in 5 years but as of right now for the next two and a half i will be in eastern VA but plan on moving back to NJ (where the property taxes are insane) but that is where i want to plant my feet forever. The ultimate goal is to own property in many places across the country. Obviously that is a long while away but i was told to work backwards.

To add to Antoine,  You will need to have a team in place, not sure how much longer you have in military? What is your plan once you are deployed, who will manage your Property(ies) ??Property Management Companies are a challenge, you might have to go thru a couple until you find the right one..

Recognize your strengths and weakness... Being in the military you might have some Options that the average Investor might not have??

Look into what type of VA loans you can qualify for that might help you on your ventures...
