Hi I am in contract on my first purchase in Binghamton area, a multi family in Johnson city near medical university. I need advice!! 1. What rent can I expect for small 1 bedroom apartments approximately 400 sqft? 2. What is the going purchase prIce for small one bedroom apartments In multI familys? 3. Which areas should I avoid? 4. Is the student rental market strong near the Medical university? 5. Looking for a GOOD honest property manager, any suggestions? Thanks

Hi Shimon! I’m an agent, and I specialize in student rentals in Bing. When you say medical university, do you mean the new nursing and pharmacy schools? The area it’s in can be hit or miss for student rentals; it’s still in its infancy for development. Price largely depends on access to the BU bus line and condition. Is your agent able to answer any of these questions? Feel free to PM me!
