Rental investments in Queens

Hi Fellow Investors,

I’m just getting started, and looking to purchase a small multi family property in the Borough of Queens for no more than about $250k. Is this realistic, or should I look outside the NYC Metro area? I would also be willing to look in areas like the Bronx, Brooklyn, Nassau or Westchester counties. What areas would people recommend?

Are you buying cash?? Did you find your own deal?? Plain and simple if you answered no to those questions, than no, this is practically impossible.
