No particular routine.... sometimes daily, for a while, and then not at all for a couple weeks.
I suppose I just drop in when I feel the need to find intelligent life out there.

Less and less each week. Great community but oversaturated with useless information and irrelevant posts. BP, to me, was fantastic years ago but is morphing into a Facebook of real estate versus an actual tool.

It's not bad when drinking my morning coffee or decompressing at the end of the day after the kid is in bed.

Certainly not enough. I enjoy reading the blogs and gaining as much knowledge as I can, but the contacts that you meet throughout the process is the greatest asset. Need to be on here everyday meeting new people. You never know who is going to have the next deal or who your next partner will be.

not enough but BP has led me to some good contacts!

replied almost 2 years agoWhen i have a lot of stuff going on deal wise, little. But right now spending time trying to source the next deal and once I get something and get into the diligence and closing will usually check in more frequently. Then try to respond to posts when i can . But when i get a deal that consumes a lot of time initially will go dormant.
I typically see the same handful of people who's responses i really like so i try to friend them, then their posts pop up in the news feed and i try to read their responses. Its especially great when i get a few people who I'm friends with that respond to the post and then see what they said. It might not be the particular topic im interested in but like hearing what the people respond with on who's opinion i value as I might learn something.
Also, if you watch certain posters long enough you figure their marketing angle. I really like the people who just post to try and post to genuinely help people out. Theres a lot that in real estate but a lot of marketing crap too. So thats why i try to give people advice from time to time because so many before me have done the same for me.

Yes I find a few interesting threads & some syndication questions & discussion & try to contribute my piece so that’s all good!
And I’ve also made some great contacts to grow my business!
I even took Scott Trench & the gang to lunch when my brother moved to Denver!

At least 30 minutes per day in the forums. Not real sure about how much I'm here for the calculators and other tools but quite a bit when I'm analyzing a deal. Also spend a lot of time listening to podcasts while driving.
I'm not on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc and I dont listen to much music while driving I listen to bigger pockets and other podcasts instead. I've learned more from podcasts in 2 years than I did in college for four. We're an extremely lucky generation, there's never been this much free education and resources available.

As I am just starting out, I try to spend a couple hours a day on BiggerPockets. Mostly in the Education section.

@Russell Brazil and @Max T. have more posts than me still soooooo, NOT ENOUGH!
in honesty I've met 80% of my real life friends on this site, I travel around the country to meet RE investors, I make money though this site, and they let me talk **** non-stop. What better way could I possibly spend my time?

@Marisa R. I know that I spend a fair amount of time viewing and reviewing the webinars. The calculators from different strategies are a valuable tool to possess. Then all of the additional people I meet makes it worthwhile. Looks like a metric that I need to start figuring out. Thanks for the question!
@Russell Brazil How do you quantify what you spend your time doing while on BP? (I.e. networking 3hrs, blogging 5hrs, etc.)

I need to spend 3 to 4 hours per day on lead generation and marketing to have a successful business. There are literally 100 different ways for me to do that.....the funnest and most pleasurable way for me to spend it is posting on Bigger Pockets. I share my knowledge, then people read it, find it useful, call me to do business or refer clients to me. So it is in part marketing, in part networking.
The key for those reading this though....dont solicit business on the forums. Its not only against forum rules, it backfires. Provide good information, provide it for free, trust in karma, and it will come back to you. I basically run my entire business now around giving out good info on these forums and at REIAs and real estate meetups. Doing that has not only made me rich, but its done so in a way that makes me feel good, because Im helping people achieve their own financial freedom.

With the app I don’t spend as much time as the actual website but all together at least 3 hours a day.

@Marisa R. I’d say that I average 15 min a day. I also listen to the podcasts (almost done catching up on those) and read some of the blog post. There is so much content.

I love this stuff. I look at all the YouTube videos that BP puts out. Maybe check out Podcast 238 where I was featured. Also, many other factual Brandon Turner videos etc...
BP is an amazing resource and educational network!! I am a big fan!!!
