@Marisa Rowe

Less and less each week. Great community but oversaturated with useless information and irrelevant posts. BP, to me, was fantastic years ago but is morphing into a Facebook of real estate versus an actual tool.

    Everyday! Excellent resource for education. I've been in the business for years. always see or hear something new or valuable. Iisten to at least one podcast or YouTube videos of BP. Calculators are a priceless tool.

    What's that saying... Mind your business!

    @Marisa Rowe here and there, sometimes become an addict! I appreciate the faithful who are on here daily! Without them BP wouldn’t be near as cool.

    Similar to others I get on here a few times a day as time allows to reply to a few posts as it's a great feeling to help others become financially independent through real estate.

    @Marisa Rowe ... I try to get on daily. I've connected with insightful individuals such as yourself! To help me feel that my way of thinking isnt so far left, but really quite right. That taking a risk in life through investment is a PHENOMENAL way to go. I look forward to connecting to more people, educating myself through this site and getting closer to financial freedom!

    @Marisa R. I've been trying to crush as many podcasts and webinars the last couple of weeks. Sometimes it takes hearing a strategy/technique a few times for it to really sink in and become part of my own analysis and decision making progress!

    Calculator's are great mainly for the aesthetics of the results page/showing friends and family.

    @Mark Fries Agree with you on that one. I find that as my network grows, the quality of the network deteriorates. I would rather keep it small meeting people like Mark (you gotta listen to his story) who I will consistently want to hear from as opposed to being pulled in 100 different conversations that I would view as background noise.

    @Andrew Flora. So true about all the free eduction out there. It used to be so hard figuring out where to get proper knowledge. You had to go to the library or book store. What were the good books to read and how would you go about finding them? Now with Podcasts , Utube, forums, the education is limitless and all at our fingertips. Amazing!

    @Marisa Rowe I broke up with Facebook and replaced it with BP. Facebook has useless info while BP helps you learn from others.

    Encouraging my husband to do the same. FB is such a bad habit of scrolling when bored. Trying to create a new habit that will actually teach us something!

    We got back into the real estate game after failing years ago. Closing this month on a SF and duplex. Need to learn everything about landlording lol!

    @Marisa Rowe

    It depends a lot on how you view it. I'm listening to the podcasts almost daily, but I can sometimes go a week almost before actually reading anything on the blog posts, and I've gone as far as 2 weeks if you're talking about being on BP for the forum posts and posting myself like right now.

    With all my construction experience, I am learning new things every day, on the BP site and others as well. Working to be better at this new phase of my career.

    @Marisa R. I don't track my time, but easily over 10 hours a week. I have some other non-real estate forums I like to visit,  but this is the only forum I actively post on. Partly because I love real estate, but also the interface is best in class for forums. On top of that, all the people on here are great.

    And I am totally jealous of @Mindy Jensen because not only does she spend more time than me, but she gets paid to do it!

    At least an hour a day!

    Easy for you to gain more and more knowledge every day. Whats the point of spending 100k for a 4 year degree when you can see real world experiences on this site every day for free (unless your a premium member).

    @Marisa Rowe my wife and I listen to podcasts every day! We just signed up with the pro membership and use the deal annaliser all the time. Starting to get into the webinars now as well! Love it! We are newr investers with 3 flips under our belt and we are looking at several deals now.

    BP gives us a lot of tools and info that has grown our confidence tremendously over the last few months! Super excited for the future!!!

    @Marisa Rowe a couple times a day. Sometimes I’ll go a few days without even looking cause I’m so busy with life and work. Then I’ll get a notification and I’m on it again.

    I think you make a really great point, @Mark Fries! What steps do you think BP, or any community forum for that matter, could take in order to cut down on irrelevant posts/discussions focused on virality rather than on true, thought-provoking content that others within the industry could continue to use as an actual tool?

    @Rob B.

    Thx rob. I'm not sure what the actual answer is I was just making an observation that it just seemed to be fantastic a few years ago and now it isn't... It might be unfixable and that it's just too flooded with what I call "dreamers" and people that don't take action? That's how it seems to me..

    @Marisa Rowe

    Sometimes a few times a day or a few days a week. But it’s great to check more often as you can. Thanks!

    @Mark Fries I’ve always used the phrase “it’s like Facebook for investors” when telling ppl about it.
