@Marisa Rowe

Less and less each week. Great community but oversaturated with useless information and irrelevant posts. BP, to me, was fantastic years ago but is morphing into a Facebook of real estate versus an actual tool.

    On average when looking for properties or tenant turnovers, about 20% of my Facebook time.

    How much time are you spending?

    Mostly depends on if there is anything of interest. In small spurts... a few minutes in the morning, then for a longer time later in the evening. I'm trying to be selective... only reading, watching or listening to what is relevant to us. No use reading about retiring early, when you're already retired. Or learning about flipping,etc... when you're interested in rentals. As far as the forum... only when I have something to ask or to reply to another post. I value this platform for the knowledge and the networking it provides. Where else can you find so many like mined people and talk about REI, especially if you live in a small town.

    I have set up blocks of time.

    From 5am-630ish  depending on length of podcast.

    @Russell Brazil

    That’s impressive. I need to be more consistent in spending a few hours a day on here. Still get in at least once a day though.:)

    I check in daily but I need a new goal for it. @Henri Meli shared with me that even though I've only done 1 deal, I have much to offer and to spend time building my brand of REI knowledge and share it more. I am most likely going to include a new goal that focuses on posts or starting to blog my REI journey on BP.

    @Marisa Rowe I spend at least one hour and day and make a point to contribute to three or more post a day. It’s awesome how many amazing people I’ve connected with here. Like most mentioned this is a great place to learn from others, share your knowledge, and connect. Happy Investing!

    In between life and its constant time demanding ,

    Between the end of dinner and sleep ,when the world is asleep

    I go to the iPad ,

    See the trending topics,

    Find some thing nice?

    increase my grey matter do I ,

    No good topic, them it's good night for me. Why waste time.

    @Marisa Rowe i try to spend at least 1 hr each day just reading the forums. To do that, I set up keyword alerts so I get notifications which forces me to check it as offen as possible

    I have no clue but likely many thousands of hours or more. It is relaxing for me to post in between deals and clients and read topics.

     Posting on Bigger Pockets is a daily activity for me & my business. Just like cold calling, answering emails, doing paperwork. The exposure that this platform allows for is out of this world. I have literally brought millions through my doors because of the daily content that I post. I recommend anyone else who's got something they want to tell the world do the same. Make this website a daily activity like anything else.

    @Russell Brazil I see your posts in almost every forum and I don’t doubt you spend 18 hours a week on here. Do you find you get a lot of business from other members?

     My business comes from organic seo of BP forum posts, and not nessecarily from BP members. Maybe 15% from actual BP members, 35% from organic seo of BP, 20% referral and 30% from REIAs/Meetups.
