I want to succeed. Some of my past investments were positive and some not.  They all brought good Knowledge and experience.  This time I will Research, Study, Learn, Network before jumping in.  This time I will go into my investments Making money; not Hoping they will make money.  I'm looking to meet people, learn from them, work with them. I'm looking for Mentors, Guidance, Positive Connections. What would you guys do if you were me? I have a lot on my plate between my Job and my Family. I have maybe $25,000 to start making money with.

Mike, suggesting what you should do depends upon your goals and investor psyche.  Is there a particular niche or strategy that you're considering?  Buy and hold?  Fix and flip?  $25K in NJ can be somewhat limiting and so you might want to consider an approach that doesn't require vast sums of cash to do deals.  Wholesaling, perhaps, but certainly more difficult than the get-rich-quick gurus claim.  I used lease options to get started in this business.  They fit my needs at the time and enabled me to raise needed cash to pursue other types of deals.
