Hot Cheap Investment Areas

Posted

I have 5,000 to invest and lost my job from Corona. I want to get into real estate investing. Where is cheap and hot to invest....My score 600....What should I do?

My boyfriend has 740 score and job.. Together 10k down.

Please make suggestions of what I can do alone and what we can do together.

I live in CA..its too expensive out here

@Niko Rossley I'm going to give you the answer you don't want to hear, but STOP!

Look, if you only have $10k to your name, you don't want to roll it all immediately into REI if you haven't done your homework. Spend some time/money reading books, networking, educating yourself, saving money, and preparing.

Honestly, if I was just starting out and lived in Cali with that amount of money to my name, I would seriously consider moving to the market I want to start investing in. California is extremely expensive to survive in, and unless youre earning a large amount of money, it probably isn't work living in when you're trying to exit the rat race.

Focus on learning, networking, and building a team...then start investing.
