Need help finding owner of property!

Hello Bigger Pockets Family! I am located in California specifically the Bay Area. I have been driving around neighborhoods with an average price of homes at about 550k-650k. I have found about 4 homes that are empty, and definitely in distress. No one lives in these properties and haven't been occupied for over a year or so. Due to COVID I am unable to walk into the county's office to obtain information on who owns these homes so I can make an offer. Does anyone know how I can go about solving this issue? I've been watching these homes for some time now and Zillow also doesn't show any recent transactions with these homes. My goal is to buy, rehab, then sell for a profit.

Christian, if you have an iPhone, download an app called "Parceled." It's free and has own info for almost every property in the country. It's amazing.
