Finally got ahold of a local investor that's absolutely killing it in my area! This guy flips over 100 houses a year and owns 40 plus rental properties. Gave this guy a call and he was more than willing to meet up with me and have a chat! Are there any specific questions I should be asking him? I have a long list of questions but would love to have some more that maybe I didn't think of. Appreciate all the help!

Hey Man,
Sorry, I'm not the best person to ask but that is so awesome! How did you find this person? I would love to know so I can find someone near me!

@Kristopher Kelly I'd say luck of the draw on this one. A buddy of mine used to work for him a couple of years ago before I was interested in real estate. I just ended up calling the guys office and he was more than willing to help me.

Christian - one suggestion from my end: find out what they're struggling with and/or what's holding them back from growing his/her business and find a way to help them. Try to find a match with your strengths and/or willingness to learn with their needs.
Is it finding investors? Is it help with social media marketing? Is it help with asset or property management?

@Andrew Schutsky mitch appreciated! I have a handful of properties that I've written down that could be possible investments to show him. I'm sure everyone could use more deals so hopefully I can show him that im actively trying to find deals and can be an asset in that way if needed.

That is so awesome! I am in a predicament just like that right now. I have the guy's number I just want to make sure I say the correct thing for him not to just push me aside or reject the idea completely.... but I guess you never know until you call I guess! Ill try and call him today and see what happens.

Buy them lunch!
Like the idea of asking them about their challenges, but be prepared to be a bit lost, because as you scale your problems get bigger.
Ask if you can do anything for them for free, so you have consistent access to them as a mentor.
Basically, find a way to add value for them and you will also get value.
