Advice for Beginner

Mariah Kohan
Posted

My boyfriend and I are currently renting an apartment to live in. I want to get started in REI.

We both want to buy a house, however I can’t get him on board with househacking.

My lease is up in August and we aren’t interested in renewing or looking for a new place to rent.

I don’t know how else to get started other than house hacking and I can’t get him on board with it.

Any other ideas? Thank you!

@Mariah Kohan don't force it, it will only drive him away. Try more subtle ways to get him interested. If you like to play games, play monopoly and cash flow. The biggest thing that turned my wife around was seeing the money and what it would be worth later in life.
