Meetups/ Networking in Atlanta

Good evening,

My name is Cornelius. I've recently moved back to Atlanta after spending the last 15 years in Chicago. I've been a realtor for the last 6 years but want to jump into investing. Looking for some meetups, opportunities to network, and possible partnerships.

Any suggestions?

Hey @Cornelius Camp, welcome to the BP Community!

Personally, I do most of my networking on BP & Facebook with some targeted in-person one-on-ones. This strategy is something I developed during Covid and have stuck with since I rarely found success with the in-person group networking events (likely my fault, not the events'). As others already suggested, being active in the forums is a great start. You have experience in real estate so don't be afraid to jump in and answer questions for less experienced folks. Also, you'll find several investors & real estate professionals here in Atlanta that are active on BP and would likely be good to connect with.

However, if you're still looking to get out to some in-person events, there were tons before Covid and I'm sure there are more than a few now. A great place to check is the Events page here on BP. Also, take a look at meetup.com & local REIAs (ATLREIA & GaREIA).

Hope this helps a bit - please, feel free to reach out anytime if you have other questions or just want to chat!
