How to hire correctly as real estate agent?

Myles Swaby
Posted

Hi! I'm a new real estate agent in the South East. I'm looking to add a professional listing photographer onto my team. Can anyone provide some important qualities that I should look for in a potential real estate photographer that I'm trying to hire?

1. Experience with the type of property you’re focusing on. Commercial and rental
is very different than luxury homes.

2. Availability and responsiveness. There are times that we sign a listing on Wednesday and want to go live the following Tuesday. Will the photographer be able to get there over the weekend to take photos, edit them, and have them mls ready by Monday?

3. Cost - obviously the cost needs to make sense. Look at how many hours it saves you and make sure it’s worth it.

Best,
Jon
