Buyers agents commission

In interviewing agents I have come to learn that there are very few agents that are being 100% paid by buyers. When do we expect this shift

Who knows if it will shift or by how much. I would bake it into your numbers and negotiate when you receive offers. If there are no offers why wouldn't you as a buyer ask for commission/closing costs? If it was during COVID, hot market then I could see it being different.
