How Long Does A Salesperson Application take in Las Vegas, NV?

Hey Folks, 

 I'm set to take my national and state tests on August 18th, 2015. I'm going tomorrow to get fingerprinted and start the background check process tomorrow, with the hopes that it will be done or close to by the time I test. After I get a broker to sign my application, and I submit it for my license, how long does it take to get approved? Also, do I have to get to work under the broker that signs the application or am I allowed to change my decision? Thanks in advance.
