Biggest differences between RE classes and real life?

Most jobs are quite different in reality from what you thought they would be, or from what you learned during your schooling. What are some of the biggest differences between pre-license learning and what you actually learn on the job? It seems that RE classes don't teach you a lot about actually working as an agent.

Pre-licensing classes have very little to do with being an agent. They dont even really touch on the applicable laws you need to worry about in the market place. You will learn about things in the class like types of deeds....you wont learn anything about say how fair housing laws are applied in the market place.  Very little of what you learn in prelicensing classes do you actually even need to know.
