Greetings BP nation - I am a new agent in MD and excited to make some offers on investment opportunities. As an agent buying the property myself, what disclosures do I need to make to the seller? Not satisfied with the answer my broker provided. Thanks!

@Tony Fulco Instead of answering the question....Im going to say if you do not like the answer your broker gave you, and you do the opposite...there is a very high chance you are going to either lose your license, or end up with a high fine from the real estate commission...as your broker will probably report your violation to the real estate commission when they see you did not do what they told you to do when reviewing the paper work for the deal.

@Account Closed is right to look straight to the law as written....but there will actually be other laws that go into this as well, that are not so easy to find online. Things like MREC regulations, MREC case law, Maryland State case law. All of these will have information on how to properly notify someone in a transaction....and the notification method will vary too across local jurisdictions. These are things that will be all but impossible for you to find online..and the dissemination of this information to agents will come from A) Your Broker, and B) Continuing Education Classes.
