Advertising on Zillow and Trulia

Can any Realtors in the Bigger Pockets community share there experience with advertising on Zillow and Trulia or on Realtor.com?

I am a newer agent who has done only rentals since getting licensed.  I have the knowledge and know how and am looking to pick up new business and work with buyers and sellers.  I have read blogs (not BP) and saw a lot of negative stories as well as some positive experiences but nearly all of what I have read are posts that are more than a year old.

Would appreciate some feedback from any Real Estate agents on here to see what there experience has been.  Thank you.

Zillow is trash. I will happily bad mouth them every day. They tell you the reason you dont have quality leads is because you have a small market share...well 33% of the market is not small.

The money they charge for leads whom are usually just never going to bad due to no savings, poor credit, should never own. You're going to waste money and give yourself more of a headache then anything.

Trulia and Zillow feed one another, the difference is thou Trulia as Seller leads which are none existent!

There are much better ways to get leads.
