Hello Everyone,
Hope everyone is having a great holiday season. I am posting here in search of forming long lasting relationships with agents who consistently acquire solid investment deals. I am currently working with a team purchasing multiple properties a month, and we are looking for as many deals as possible in the upcoming year. I look forward to connecting with anyone who has loft goals for the upcoming year, and any agent looking to further expand their network. Let's build for the future!

Many RE agents that are good at finding deals soon figure out that they can find them for themselves! Most RE agents aren't investors and don't have the mindset, they just want to close as many properties as possible to get the most commission. My opinion.

Ummm...what?! No, sir. I will have to respectfully disagree.
I am a Realtor going on 21 years now. Licensed in both AZ and in CA from 2004-2008. I represent all kinds of investors, and am experienced at finding deals....and No, I do not take the deals for myself. Most of the time, my RE investing goals are different from the investor that I am working with, whether it be different types of projects, locations, price point, etc...The list goes on. So, there is not conflict there.
I am also an investor. I have been a landlord since 2002, and own a diverse portfolio of properties. I have also gone to Trustee sale, purchased HUD homes, completed Flips, and much more. So I am capable of evaluating deals, factoring cap rates and cash on cash returns, analyzing deals and so forth as many investors come in with money, but no real clue about what they are doing and what they are looking for. Where do you think they learn that?
I have worked with out of state investors, as well as Canadian investors. I have helped numerous people think outside the box in order to provide an opportunity for them to enter the RE investing world.
I understand that Realtors can get a bad wrap for certain things. There are many that aren't qualified to do what they are licensed for. I have found that many of those types of Realtors either don't hold the title Realtor, or are gone within a few years of being licensed. Those of us tried and true Realtors who stand the test of time, through market and economy waves, commission reduction trends, and clients who betray....well, these people deserve your respect. They have earned it.

@Cara Lonsdale so you are saying you keep the best deals you find for yourself, and pass the 2nd best deals onto the investors. You are an investor with a RE license, not a Realtor that works with investors. You sorta proved my point above...
I don't doubt you help newbie investors, but they aren't really experienced. I wouldn't expect to learn investing from a RE agent!

No. That is not at all what I said. Did you READ my post? It sounds like you are reacting, instead of actually discussing, which tends to leave wisdom unaccounted for.
I am a Realtor....going on 21 years now, so I think it is safe to say I am in this long term, and am a professional.
I am not an investor with a Real Estate license. To me, that would suggest that I only have my license to complete my own deals. That is false.
I don't just work with newbies actually. I deal with investors at all levels. Many of them need guidance. That's not to suggest that ALL of them do, OR that needing guidance means they are inept or inexperienced in RE investing.
And to clarify for you, since it is obviously required, I did NOT say that I keep the best deals for myself. I said that a statement like that does not really come into play as my RE investing goals are many times different from the investor clients that I work with.....meaning they are looking for different stuff than I am looking for, so there's no conflict.
You really need to fine tune your discussion skills before coming to a forum and blasting people. It is not what this kind of forum is meant for, and you are just putting bad info out there.
