VA's For Cold Calling

I've read a few other threads about this but I need some help. I'm looking to delegate all of our cold calling to a VA. I've posted a few adds on freelancer sites but all of the prospects need major training. I'm looking for a place that has real estate VA's for a good price. Preferably ones that can skip trace, but if need be I can do that also. I've pretty much personally been doing this since I started wholesaling and I can't waste my time on it anymore, it's slowing me way down!

I think regardless of where you go you'll be doing significant training to any VA unless you're willing to pay a good price for those VAs. Simply enough, (can't say its simple as I haven't done it yet), create a manual for your VAs to read through just like they would a script. I've got the bare bones on instructions that include research on a property through the GIS website, researching comps, etc. but I've yet to hire VAs for anything. Where are you looking for your VAs currently? Online foreign sites only or elsewhere?

Upwork.com currently. There's actually been a couple very experienced VA's to apply since I posted this, but they far more expensive than normal. I might bite the bullet and pay a decent price, the one lady has great english skills and her own scripts. She also has been trained for cold calling in the wholesale model. I guess you get what you pay for.

I don't know the numbers, but I'd be inclined to go this way. Hire good people and pay them, especially if the difference isn't a factor or 2 or 3 or something. What is your time work trying to train somebody?

I have just hired someone from Upwork to do cold calling to FSBOs and expireds for real estate lead gen, but she already had a strong background in that field. The rates weren't bad at all. I will comment back and see what the results are after the first few weeks. I've found a lot of great people on Upwork. Just make sure you read their reviews, look over their portfolios, and define the scope of work very clearly. The only alternative to this is hiring a local person to do it and letting them work out of their home with scripts you provide. YMMV. I think it's always smart to hire in areas that suck up your time. This goes for all areas of your life. Do what you are best at and delegate the rest.

Spot on. I'm glad you've found one to help you with your operations. We used to do that before, now I'm happy that I have a team of virtual assistants from the Philippines who had been instrumental in upscaling our business. Whenever you need help, just send me a DM.

I've been considering doing this myself as it's not a great use of my time calling these leads but there are still deals to be had. What's been your results/experience?
