Real Estate License Education in CO

I am an investor doing fix and flips in the Denver Metro Area. I am interested in obtaining my real estate license in order to gain access to the MLS and have greater control over my deals. Does anyone have a recommendation for:
1. The best place to fulfill the educational requirements?
2. Which brokerage to place my license with/ which brokerage is the most accommodating and makes the most sense for an investor who is not looking to be a fulltime salesperson?

Thanks for the help.

Christian,

Licensing depends on you, if you want to do classroom study/class or on your own at home.

I did ACRE school, pounded out the classes on my own at home in 2 weeks and that worked for me and my schedule.

Somewhere like Kaplan or Jones schools have more traditional classroom setting, if you are into that.

Part time/investor brokerages, the best 2 are:

Modern Real estate: $20/ month, $300 per transaction, no real support, education, etc. Pay for the absolute minimum of the license.

Your Castle Real Estate: $80/ month, on a cap/split, this is an investment RE brokerage with TONS of training, support and brokers who understand and know investments. You pay a little more, but not nearly as much as the big 3 (KW, re/max, coldwell/MB/whatever) and get great support. Has a ton of stats and data in the market so you can look up a neighborhood and know its price change per quarter, some fix n flip maps to tell you recent activity, etc.

I'm w/ Your castle, and used to be with re/max, modern and KW. If you need contact info for any of these companies, let me know.
