Using Social Media to Generate Leads

I am just starting off in Real Estate and I am interested in getting advice from those who have used social media to generate leads. I have been a software developer for the last 4 years and really want to integrate the use of technology into my real estate career. I have a couple of questions to get the conversation started:

1) What social media platforms have given you your greatest ROI?

2) What strategies did you use when it came to using those platforms (paid ads, groups, etc..)?
