Investor Friendly Contractor

I am 24 years old and soon to be Certified Building Contractor in FL (just waiting on the state to reply!). 

A little about me: my Dad handed me "The Richest Man in Babylon" and "Rich Dad, Poor Dad" when I was 15. I loved the books and began reading anything I could find on how to escape the "rat race". This lead me to Grant Cardone, BiggerPockets, and majoring in Finance with a Concentration in Real Estate. My family has been building homes in FL for the last 40 years ( My grandfather and father). Coming out of college I thought I wanted to be a Real Estate Agent until I figured out that as the Contractor I am able to put an entire deal together and bring my license along to make the deal happen.

My goal is to set my Contractor business up to be as investor friendly as possible so I can begin to use my knowledge in Construction to form partnerships with Real Estate Investors. 

As an investor what are some things that you look for in your potential Contractor? 

- Project History? - Investor Referral List? - Have you ever worked with a Contractor that is also in tune with the investment side of real estate? 

For any Contractors on here : What are some ways you have created your business to be more for investors/real estate instead of just focusing on General Construction? - Deal Analysis? - Project Returns? - Marketing?
