they were available in Audible format or audio so that I could listen to them while driving Maybe they are and I don't know it yet. Has this been considered?
@Ben G. You could totally do it... I listen to most books while I working now because I am very busy during the day trying to everything done before 5pm. I wake up at 2 sometimes it difficult but a good book is a good book. Maybe we can get J's book on Amazon and it will go #1. : )
I think anyone, regardless of how busy they are, can find the time to do what they really want to do. Trust me, you really need to "want" to read this book! :)

Ahhh ... C'mon Josh ... it's not like J.'s all that busy at the moment ;-)
If you get the e-book and put it on your phone or tablet, you can have it read to you while you drive ... if you do not mind Marvin the Paranoid Android as narrator.
My vote is for Bryan Cranston to record the book. When it comes down to reading Estimating Rehab Costs he can voice it as Heisenberg from Breaking Bad, just to make sure we all stay in line when it comes to following the rules. If you can't get him then perhaps Patrick Stewart would be a good stand in.
These two books are best used as reference material . That means you go back into them on a regular basis. Especially when you think you've missed something. The definition of dumb is thinking you know it all.

They are both awesome books to read. I'd take some time out to read at least the first book on Flipping. And the second book on Estimating Cost can be used mostly as a reference.
I am also a big audio books guy, but J's book are more than worth the time spent reading them. And *** others have pointed out, they are even more useful as ongoing reference material.
I am a big fan of audible books and think every book should have this alternative format (I have a 3 hour commute each day). I don't consider myself lazy for using them and there are tons of times that I go back and listen to chapters as a refresher (just like a book). With that being said, if it aint in audible format you gotta find time to read it.
I've never listened to an audio book. Too easy to get distracted and miss something important!
@David T. Definitely have to agree that they're great for referencing. I got a quote the other day and after checking the book I did a double take--they came back with a 33% discount the day after I walked away.
If you have newer Android smart phone you can try @Voice Aloud Reader. I use it while driving and my kids make fun of "I..a.m..a..r.o.b.o.t" voice. It uses TTS (text to speech) package that is on your phone or you can paid for better one.
