I'm excited to announce today that @Darren Sager is the newest member of the BiggerPockets Moderator team!
Darren has been a very active member of the BiggerPockets Forums, as well as a guest on the BiggerPockets Podcast (if you haven't listened yet, don't miss that episode!) He's also helping to organize the big upcoming BiggerPockets Meetup in New York City next Tuesday, January 14th that I'll be at! (more info here)
Anyways, thanks Darren for jumping on board to help us out! @Joshua D. and I and all the other Mods appreciate it!

Welcome on board! It's always good to have another moderator hanging out. That's great that you're doing a big NY meet up. How fun! We need to do something like that in southern California.

Congrats Darren. I hope Josh put you on his payroll like all of the other mods. J Scott said Josh is a generous boss so I guess the compensation package is pretty sizeable.

Congratulations @Darren Sager on becoming one of the big wigs around here. From the looks of things around here @Joshua D. , @Brandon Turner , and the rest of them can sure use your help getting things squared away! ;-) Just kidding you guys! You all are doing a fantastic job! By the way Darren, great podcast!

Good job! Even better, thanks for organizing the NY BiggerPockets meetup. I have a feeling the deals that will happen up there will be big, AND amazing! :-)

@Bill Morillo - A moderator is someone who is active in the community who helps manage and keep order. Basically, you can think of them as the volunteer sheriff department. They are folks who have earned the trust of the community and who give back by helping maintain some semblance of order.
