Marketplace - Who do you trust?

Question

I was browsing over at the marketplace and I felt like I was in a foreign country walking down a local market with hundreds of people trying to sell me something.  Ad after Ad after AD!  I wanted to say "Back off!  I got mace!"  It's there for that reason but....who can you trust?  How do you breakdown the good, the bad and the "he must think I'm a fool!"  Thanks BP!

I was able to ask a question where the one and only Josh Dorkin replied back first!!!!  I've listened to almost all of your podcast, in the bathroom, in my car, before I go to sleep but my wife really enjoys them the most.  So I turn the lights down low, light some candies and play some...Nope not Sade...yep you guessed it, JD & BT!

Just a little humor!  I asked that question because i was thinking about becoming a member but didn't want to spend the monthly cash if there wasn't any value in the marketplace.  So I'm looking for ways to slice down the weeds to find the real fruits to fee my family you could say.

Account Closed - The purpose of the marketplace is so people can offer opportunities and can ask for stuff they need/want.  You see ad after ad there because there are no other places on the site to pitch/solicit.

As for who to trust, that's a great question.  We tell everyone to do their due diligence on anyone and anything here on the site.  That said, I'm sure some of the members can chime in with their strategies for vetting folks and what they are promoting.

Account Closed You would vet the ads on the marketplace just like any other ads.  Anyone can sign up and pay for a Pro account and post an ad.  However check out the deal volume on people and people that others have done deals with.  Referrals are a pretty powerful source of good leads.
