REHAB ESTIMATING CALCULATOR??

is there a rehab calculator /estimator on this site? I thought i heard Brandon talk about it ...but i can seem to find it!???? HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL!!

I think Bigger Pockets' misnamed the calculator.  It's not exactly a rehab "estimator".  It just adds up numbers that the user puts in it.  It's nice that it has the categories laid out, but the user has to do the hard work of finding the inputs.  When Brandon was talking about this new calculator, I envisioned punching in the city and the square footage of the house, punching in which items need to be replaced versus lightly rehabbed, and then the calculator would spit out a number that was in the ballpark of the rehab required.  I guess it was just wishful thinking on my part.

thanks everyone...James where  is yours located ? i will give it a try if you like ...but be forewarned  after 40 years im set in my ways and not sure if anyone else can create something that would suit my preferences! I will try the one on BP First.

I have been working on a rehab cost estimating calculator that is algorithmically based (meaning it does not require very much user knowledge or input to generate a ballpark budget).

This is a very unique approach to cost estimating. I have used the unit pricing indexes from Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae to create the algorithm, along with my own experience managing a HomeFixers franchise for over 10 years.

We just released it in 2015, I would love to hear any thoughts or feedback you or the other BiggerPockets members have.

@Steven Juelke, look under "tools" in the navigation bar up top. There is a "house flipping", a "rental property" and a "wholesaling" calculator. Perhaps, that is what Brandon was referring to.
