Where did Washington, D.C. go?

Question

I wanted to start a forum topic in the local forum for Washington, D.C., but I found I could not. I know we're not a state but please, we are part of the United States. When I hit "Start a Discussion" and go to "Select a Forum" the local forum for "Washington, D.C." is not there. Where did it go.

I understand sometimes we (the District of Columbia) gets left off and forgotten, because when thinking of the 50 states, we're not a state. I now notice P.R. (Puerto Rico) is left off too, but I didn't know if they ever had a forum. Puerto Rico & Guam are also part of the United States.

Also we are not a part of Maryland.

So where has Washington, DC gone?

It's there, it's just listed last instead of alphabetically.

Not in DC. DC's too expensive for me. But I keep an eye out, because I live inside the District of Columbia.

Okay, I was able to post. It appears Washington D.C. is a sub forum (won't show up on a search for D.C.) of "Local Real Estate Networking and Recommendations" which is between Kentucky and Louisiana .

Sigh, still feeling like a second class citizen in America. If DC is a sub forum while States and Canada are parent forums under Local Real Estate representation and statehood have a snowball's chance in hell.

To start a discussion on that forum I believe you should be able to do what you said you did. Other people are posting so I suspect your right about the bug being specific to your browser but we will get it fixed!  What is your os & browser?

Ah. Tried to post a topic and once again Washington DC is missing from the pull down list. It is not at the bottom. When I leave the "select a forum" field empty it won't post without a chosen forum. I went into the DC forum and then tried hitting the "Start Discussion" button and it does not connect to the DC forum.

Maybe it is my browser.
