Warning: Fake Email from BP!
Hey All -
Over the past few days, I've gotten a few emails to the main BiggerPockets mail accounts that appears to be some kind of phishing emails that claim to be coming from BiggerPockets.
These messages DO NOT use our HTML formatting, which should be your sign that they are fake! They come from support@biggerpockets, but that is just spoofed.
DO NOT CLICK THE LINK IN THIS MESSAGE IF YOU GET IT
We're exploring whether this message is only being sent to BiggerPockets emails, or if others are getting it. We're also exploring our legal options here.

Can we keep this thread close to the top, so as many BP members as possible are aware? Some how my e-mail address has gotten out and I get spam (from myself) selling about anything that you can imagine! Jackie and I will be on the defense of this phishing scam. Josh, my understanding of this situation is that it is very difficult to catch them. Good Luck and I hope this goes away soon.
