Education for Newbie

Hello!  I am just wondering if anyone can recommend any books on rehabbing mobile homes.  I am interested in getting involved in flipping real estate, however, with the amount of money I have available, I feel that I would have more success with lower end properties.  I know that there is money to be made here in FL with MHs, however, I don't know much about them.

@Melissa K.

Hello and welcome.

Mobile homes have a lot of differences from regular stick built houses. So watch that contractors you may talk to 'know' mobiles. If you work on one in a park, ask the park manager who they have do handyman work. Talk to them and have them walk through with you so they can show you what to look for.

There are a couple good books on Amazon that I got when I first started doing them.

Foremost Mobile Home Fix It Guide: Your Manufactured Home Repair Book

and

The Manual for Manufactured/Mobile Home Repair and Upgrade

and

Your Mobile Home: Energy and Repair Guide for Manufactured Housing, 5th Edition

These are the ones I'd recommend checking out.

Yell if you have any questions.

Have fun and good luck!
