There’s this landlord in my area retiring. He has a 24m rental portfolio and he is selling his properties with seller financing. How do I approach this situation. It’s multifamily.

Start by building a relationship with the seller and understanding his goals beyond just price sometimes retirees value steady income and an easy transaction over top dollar. Gather full financials on the properties, then explore creative terms like a low down payment, favorable interest rate, or longer amortization to make cash flow work. Position yourself as a trustworthy, low-risk buyer who can close smoothly.
