Hello

My name is Dondi Sanchez, its been a long time since I've posted something. this is more of a question. My wife and I have been more of buy and hold investors. We won SFH, Multi family, commercial and short term rentals. We are looking to sell off some of our properties and I know there was a big law suite with realtors Im looking at advice on qhats fiar and the going rate for realtors these days?

Thank you in advance.

Dondi

Dondi, I think that this is a tough question to ask. The "standard commission" is around 6% and the national average is 5.4%. However, in my experience, if using the same agent for multiple properties you should be able to get a reduced amount. That being said, don't focus as much on the commission amount and put more focus on the agent, how long they've been in the business, and their experience. An experienced agent will give the right advice, even if it's not what you want to hear and are worth the price. Inexperienced agents will drop their commission right away and have little experience (check reviews, Zillow, Google, etc).
