Purchasing Multi in Baltimore as house hack

Peter Paul
Posted

Hello BP family!

I’m currently moving to the Baltimore area from Richmond for a job and actively seeking a multi-unit to buy as my primary residence to house-hack. I’m looking to start building my real estate portfolio up this way and hopefully buy another using equity from my potential multi. Do you all feel Baltimore is a good start or should I look outside of Baltimore (suburbs or surrounding areas)?

Id look in the neighborhoods of Canton, Fells Point, Federal Hill as a starting point. Feel free to reach out as our team services Baltimore.
